Ariba’s aim is simple, to put businesses at the top of search engine results via a simple and honest approach to SEO strategy and implementation. They provide weekly reporting on page ranking and an outline of completed work, which sets them apart from other agencies.

Challenge

Ariba approached intwo to reconfigure their brand to help customers understand what SEO can do for businesses.

Having been around for a few years, they understood there was certain attitudes and solutions where stability and safety was questionable. Ariba wanted to be seen as a simple alternative solution where trust could be built.

Some clear objectives needed to be adhered to help expose the brand with its desired audience. The need for a modern, no-fuss and trusted identity was required, but also how to present and sell the services as a simple solution for SEO needs. The challenge was to capture the technical understanding of the business yet still make it accessible to the target market to emphasise the simple approach to SEO for business.

Approach

The Ariba team prides itself on clear expectations and defined targets based on client goals, delivered in a no-fuss easily explained solution to help customers through every stage of the process.

With this simple mantra as our foundation to the brand, we set about creating a digital first, identity that would express a modern sleek feel yet minimise the complexity of this technical industry.

Our focus was not only to develop a modern identity but to think how we could present their services to customers. We considered how to package and explain SEO solutions, so businesses who are short on time and understanding can utilise the services with ease.

Solution

Our solution to the logo was to highlight the very action they achieve for their customers – move website listings up web-search rankings.

By developing a stylised letter ‘A’ as our brand symbol we allowed this device to act like an arrowhead and emphasise the core goal of the brand output.

This brand symbol would give us a device for all digital touchpoints and allowed for a clean logotype to be applied which further enhanced the clean approach to styling which echoed the brand mantra of ‘keeping things simple’. As most communications would be through digital applications, the need for brand assets to work at small scale was essential. We paired the logo with a modern take on a corporate colour palette to reflect the core audience in which the brand would engage with.

Once the identity was created, we paid special attention to how we could deliver SEO services for potential customers. From group planning sessions we hit upon building a one-stop shop where customers could order online with ease and avoid dealing with sales and accounts team. The website was designed to break content into easy to manage insights and packaged solutions, giving the user as much information as possible without weighing them down with technical jargon.

The result was a clean modern and well-structured site that has enhanced the sales process for the business and is already providing a return on the investment they made.
