Kareela Public School Parents & Citizens

Task

The Parents & Citizens group needed an identity that would work alongside the school's while also giving its own personality. Featuring a modern reinterpretation of the school emblem for the more youthful and energetic P&C association, which takes its cues from the KPS school emblem: water/waves; school emblem’s ‘leaf’ forming the shape of the tree. All this represents the meaning of the name Kareela, i.e. a place of trees and water. A contemporary but friendly illustration style has been used. The font is again contemporary but will also work alongside the school’s more ‘traditional’ serif font.
